A few minor guidelines to make the meetings run smoothly and allow everyone who would like to share their work enough time to do so and receive feedback and critique.
In order to allow everyone an equal opportunity to have their work heard and receive feedback and critique, we ask that you limit your reading time at the main meeting to 10 minutes. (To give you an idea of what this amounts to in pages, on average one double spaced, Courier font size 12 page takes 1 1/2 to 2 minutes to read.)
Please be prepared to give a brief synopsis of your story up to the point you begin reading.
Discussion time following the reading is limited to approximately 10 minutes, but these times are subject to change, based on the number of people we have reading at each meeting.
