The principal commitment of the Kenosha Writers’ Guild is to:
1) Provide for its members regular fellowship with other writers and people sympathetic to the process of creative writing
2) Provide for its members a regular informal setting to present their work and to receive feedback from a respectful but demanding audience.
The Guild tries to bring together serious writers as well as those who write for pleasure to celebrate their stories and to reflect the wide range of styles, voices and content.
The Guild embraces all prose, fiction, poetry, plays, and screen writing. Members are largely from southeastern Wisconsin but membership is open to anyone.
The Guild also seeks to serve and be an integral part of Kenosha’s vital artistic community by actively engaging in the life and culture of the city and the region.
